JPG to PDF: turn photos into one PDF, privately
Turn JPG, PNG and WebP images into one PDF in your browser. Put them in order, pick A4, Letter or the image's own size, and download. No uploads.
Runs on your deviceRuns entirely in your browser: nothing you type or upload leaves your device.
How to use it
- Drop your photos or images, or click to choose them.
- Put them in order and choose the page size and margin.
- Click Create PDF to download it.
From phone photos to the PDF a form asks for
Many procedures want documents as PDF, but what you have are photos: both sides of your ID, a handwritten receipt, the pages of a signed letter you photographed on the table. Scanning them again isn't always possible.
This tool puts each image on its own page, in the order you choose, and turns each page to match its photo. Before a JPG photo goes into the PDF, its hidden data (EXIF), including the GPS location, is removed.
Example: ID card, front and back
You drop id-front.jpg and id-back.jpg, two phone photos of about 3 MB each. Leave the page size on A4 (or Letter, if that is what your country uses) and the margin on Small, about 7 mm. Click Create PDF: you get id-front.pdf, named after the first image, with 2 pages.
That PDF weighs about 6 MB, because JPG photos go in without recompression. If the portal accepts at most 2 MB, first pass the photos through the image compressor with a max width of 1600 pixels, then build the PDF again: the text stays readable and the file fits.
Mistakes that make a PDF look wrong
A small image on a big page is enlarged to fill it, so a 400-pixel photo on Letter paper looks blurry. Use the largest original you have, or choose Same as the image. Photos taken at an angle stay at an angle: crop and straighten them in your gallery first, with the document filling the frame.
Each image becomes one full page. The tool doesn't place two photos on the same page, and it doesn't read the text in them (the PDF isn't searchable). If a form asks for both sides of an ID on a single sheet, you need to combine them into one image before you convert it.
FAQ
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The PDF is built by your browser, on your device, so photos of your ID or documents never leave it.
Which page size should I choose?
Letter is the usual size in the US, Colombia and Mexico; A4 in most other countries. "Same as the image" makes each page exactly the size of its photo, with no white border if you set the margin to none.
Does it lower the quality?
JPG and PNG images go into the PDF as they are, with no recompression. Other formats (WebP, GIF…) and phone photos saved sideways are converted to a high-quality JPG first.
A photo came out sideways. Why?
We turn photos upright using the rotation your phone saved in them. If one still looks wrong, rotate it in your gallery, save it and add it again.
Why is my PDF so heavy?
Because the photos go in as they are, to keep their quality. A PDF with five phone photos can weigh 15 MB or more. Reduce the photos first with the image compressor (for example, max width 1600 and quality 70) and create the PDF again.
